I currently serve as the co-editor of Beecher’s at The University of Kansas. Graduate students founded this publication in the Fall of 2010, and named it for Henry Ward Beecher, brother of Harriet Beecher-Stowe, who once smuggled rifles to Kansas in harmless-looking crates stamped BOOKS or BIBLES.
